蠔是一種肉質鮮美、營養豐富的海鮮,每年11月至次4月是吃蠔的最好季節,在珠海,蠔的烹飪方法有很多,主要有酥炸、白灼、鐵板燒、姜蔥等等。到珠海一定要吃蠔,吃的時候最好再喝上一點紅葡萄酒,就更是錦上添花,對健康也大有裨益。

小貼士:珠海南部的橫琴島是吃蠔的好地方,從九洲港乘車到橫琴島大約有40分車程。當地的永安海鮮酒家做的蠔比較出名,每年吃蠔的季節會有不少人從澳門等地趕過來品嘗鮮蠔,該酒家就位于橫琴巴士站旁邊(近海邊)。
