香菇,俗稱香信,產于十萬大山,是縣內傳統出口產品。傳統生產方法是在每年冬11月-12月選天氣晴朗的日子,將能生長香菇的樹木歡伐倒地(能生長香菇的樹有46種,常見的有菇豆杜英、楓樹、楮樹等),待二、三個月后把樹桿砍成若干段,用刀斧將木表皮成若干刀口,然后擱放于濕潤、蔭涼的溝邊或樹根下,待第二年冬季即開始長菇。用這種傳統方法生產出來的香菇雖個小,但菇肥肉厚,色澤棕黃,醇香脆嫩,營養豐富。
