灰包蛋產于涌山鎮楊潭村,有著幾十年的制作歷史,主要制作方法是:用蕎麥桿子、芝麻桿子等灰,以及在灰里配些石灰、食鹽調劑,攪拌成泥狀后,再將新鮮蛋用配置好的灰包好。然后放置15—20天就可蒸熟食用,這種蛋的適用范圍很廣,在春夏秋三個季節都可以加工。

灰包蛋味道鮮嫩、色彩光亮,并且有去火、降血糖等功能,很受當地人的喜愛。
