升金湖青蝦

青蝦系長臂蝦科,學名“日本沼蝦”,升金湖沿岸人稱“青蝦”,縣內通稱“蝦子”。體長4—8厘米,青綠色。夏季喜棲水上層和湖灘,冬季蟄伏泥窩。幼蝦食浮游生物,成蝦食水生植物莖葉及魚、貝類廣體,是湖區鷺、鶴、雁、鴨的餌料。青蝦主產于升金湖,年產量約18萬公斤,僅姜壩站年收購量就達7.5萬公斤,前些年部分調運上海。1984年以來,收購青蝦全部冷凍,出口日本。升金湖周圍無工廠,水質無污染,所產青蝦形體青亮,肉質鮮嫩,成蝦規格每500克在80—100只之間,深受國內外客商歡迎。
